Needle Felted Succulents

What’s better than a low maintenance succulent? A NO maintenance one! That’s right, create your own realistic mini felted succulents and cacti and fool your friends and fam (and your plant-loving cat!) – no dirt, water or sun required!

What’s better than a low maintenance succulent? A NO maintenance one! That’s right, create your own mini felted succulents and cacti and fool your friends and fam (and your plant-loving cat!) – no dirt, water or sun required! Using wool and your trusty felting needle, learn to blend and form realistic plants perfect for your window sill, desktop or bookshelves. Finish off by ‘planting’ in a terra cotta pot and we promise – no one will know the difference!

In this CraftJam workshop, you will learn:

  • What materials to use.
  • How to blend wool to create natural and realistic colors and forms.
  • How to turn unspun wool into a miniature 3D creation.
  • How embellish and finish your creation by ‘planting’ in a terra cotta pot.

Brand new to needle felting and want to master the basics first? We recommend our Absolute Beginner Needle Felting workshop, where you’ll learn foundational felting skills like prepping your materials and safely sculpting wool into a 3D creation.
