Pick up basic leather working skills and make your own customised accessories in this CraftJam. If you’ve never worked with leather before, our Leather Accessories Workshop is the best place to start. Absolute beginners are welcome to join our Jams. And to get your creative juices flowing, this event is hosted at Freehand New York, an artistic community and hotel in Flat Iron district.
In under two hours, a certified JamMaster will show you everything you need to know, including:
- How to cut, hole punch, and assemble
- How to make leather tassels, monogrammed keychains, bracelets or earbud holders
- How to insert snaps, rivets and screw-back head buttons
- How to hand-stamp your initials on to leather
We’ve got all the materials you need, including an assortment of colorful leathers, all the right leather craft tools, and a stamping station. Go home with two accessories of your choice!
This is not BYOB – The Freehand will have beverages available for purchase.
CraftJams are hosted in an intimate setting with a twelve attendee maximum. Make sure to purchase your ticket before the event is sold out!
Please note: supplies may vary based on availability.
