Looking for a break from your hectic week? Join in on our latest GuestJam with artist Priscilla Lee to learn a few basic watercolor techniques and create your own beautiful Watercolor Anemones painting. From color theory to application, the techniques you’ll learn in Priscilla’s workshop are applicable to other floral subjects that you can put to practice after class to develop your own unique style. Show off your new artwork on your walls at home (hello gallery wall!) or save it as a special gift -- watercolor is one of our favorite ways to de-stress while getting creative!
Over the course of 2 hours, our GuestJam artist Priscilla will share a wealth of watercolor knowledge, including:
Basic color theory and color value
Basic brushstrokes applicable to watercolor florals
Single-layer and multi-layer watercolor techniques
Painting watercolor anemones with step by step instructions
This is a beginner-friendly workshop, no previous painting or watercolor experience necessary! All materials needed for the workshop will be provided. Each attendee will receive a handmade, ceramic watercolor palette to take home.
BYOB – crafting is paired best with your favorite drink of choice!
CraftJams are hosted in an intimate setting with a twelve attendee maximum. Make sure to purchase your ticket before the event is sold out!
