SocialJam: CraftJam Knit Club with Alexi Tavel from Two of Wands

  • Burrow House 125 Greene Street New York, NY, 10012 United States (map)

From designing to traveling to knitting, Alexi Tavel does it all. Her line of beautiful knits and patterns, Two of Wands, is influenced by her day-to-day and inspires makers around the world to pick up their needles (or crochet hooks!) and start on their own stitch journeys.

For our November CraftJam Knit Club, we’re honored to have Alexi on board to host our second monthly gathering and share the story behind how she turned her passion for knitting into a thriving business. Join Alexi as she discusses what goes into building a modern business, sharing your craft, and what knitting trends to watch out for in the upcoming seasons. You’ll even walk away with some awesome goodies from Two of Wands and Lion Brand Yarn to boot!

Hosted at Burrow Showroom in Soho, their comfy couches make the perfect lounging spot for you to cozy up with your latest knitting project!

So remember to BYOB and BYOK (knitting, that is) and mark your calendar for another great evening of casting on, catching up, and chatting with some of our favorite knitters, artists, and designers!

What you bring: Yourself (and a friend!) + current knitting project + favorite drink!

What we’ve got: Gift bag + FREE Two of Wands Pattern + Tools

CraftJam Knit Club is a modern knitting circle where you can gather together with other crafters to work on your current projects or start on new ones! Each Knit Club will have a specific theme or guest, and while the underlying spirit of Knit Club is built on the freedom to knit whatever you want, there will always be a JamMaster or special guest on hand to offer guidance, tips, or a helping hand should you need it. All skill levels are welcome, but please keep in mind that this is not a workshop where you will learn how to knit.
