
Whether you are obsessed with beanies, or simply want to learn how to knit: our new Knitting CraftJam is a must! Learn basic stitches and make all the beanies you ever dreamed of. This knitting workshop is designed for absolute beginners, but also fun for not-so-newbies who want to have some fun and stitch with others.
Through in-class demonstrations and home assignments, students will learn the foundations of knitting – casting on, knitting, purling, simple stitch patterns, and binding off. Students will be able to complete endless projects on their own after taking this class.
The curriculum:

1st week: Introduction to knitting 11/28/2018
Reading our basic craftjam pattern
Casting on and bind off
The knit stitch
The purl stitch
Start working on a beanie
Homework: Continue knitting your project at home
2nd week: Continue and Finishing Beanie 12/5/2018
Review previous week and work
How to fix a dropped stitch
Binding off
Weaving in ends
Resources for further education
This class is beginner-friendly; no experience necessary! We will have all the supplies and materials ready for you, including yarn and knitting needles.
Also, we are BYOB friendly, so bring a drink of your choice.
