What’s your name? Pair it with an adjective that has the same first letter.
Charismatic Christine
What do you usually do during the day?
I’m the community manager for Qapital.
Where did you grow up?
Toronto, Canada (a.k.a. The Six a.k.a. T-Dot a.k.a. Hogtown).
What’s the coolest thing you’ve ever made?
This knitted tank top that I’m working on is definitely the biggest thing (probably the coolest, too).
What do you like about crafting?
That it can be both a solo or social activity, and that it allows me to learn new things and improve upon things I’ve already learned. Plus, it’s a creative outlet, which is great because I can’t draw to save my life.
What CraftJams have you attended and what did you make?
How to carve a rubber stamp for fabric. I made a tote bag with golden pizza slices on it.
Why should people attend a CraftJam?
You’ll meet other people who have similar interests as you, and you’ll learn new skills.
What’s your favorite drink while crafting?
I learned the hard way not to drink while knitting (a lot of frogging later), so now I stick with temperance drinks like ginger ale or seltzer.
If you could CraftJam with anyone, who would it be?
I feel like Tuesday Bassen could teach me a thing or two about making cool stuff.
What are your favorite song(s) when casually crafting?
These days, I’m digging the thought of throwing the windows open and putting on my SPRING VIBES playlist on Spotify while knitting.
What would you like to learn next?
I’m looking forward to learning how to make embroidered wall art!
