What’s your name? Pair it with an adjective that has the same first letter.
Jolly Jing.
How long have you been crafting?
As a child, my mom taught me many little craft projects such as knotted bags. But I really started crafting in college.
What do you like about crafting?
It’s very soothing. Some projects require a lot of dedication, but the results are always satisfactory. It brings joy especially when someone happily receives my the projects I make.
What’s the coolest thing you’ve ever made?
Once I made 1000 paper cranes. It took me a whole summer. I challenged myself to properly manage my time and be persistent. 1000 cranes can bring good luck and make a wishes come true. I wish the person who received my 1000 cranes had his/her wishes come true.
What do you like about CraftJams?
I like the people working behind CraftJam. They are creative and always people focused. I like their vision of bringing happiness to others by making crafts.
If you could CraftJam with anyone, who would it be?
I would love to CraftJam with Paul Rudd, although his blue eyes would just make me faint.
What’s the best advise you ever got?
Honestly, I can’t remember too many. There is this one I remember and often live according to, but I don’t know if it’s a good or a bad one. It goes: “When you give excuses about something, often you feel guilty and try to get out of the situation.
Don’t give too many excuse for the things you can actually achieve.”
Best music to listen while crafting?
I like Norah Jones or anything of the same genre.
