How long have you been doing crochet?
12 years! I was on varsity swimming during middle school and high school and a couple of the girls would do it on the bus to and from meets, so I asked my nana how to show me how and she gave me the basics. The rest I learned through YouTube and then eventually also Pinterest.
What do you like about crafting?
I am a Data Manager for a Market Research company – essentially # analyses, so I enjoy crafting for the focus, the tangibility of “doing something”, the time for myself.
What’s the coolest thing you’ve ever made?
A Flamingo halter top!
What do you like about CraftJams?
Meeting new people outside of my day to day!
If you could CraftJam with anyone, who would it be?
Donald Glover, he’s very creative and smart, and I would love to see what he’d come up with in a CraftJam. Also I love him so I’d just want to spend time drinking and creating with him
What’s the best advice you ever got?
Stop worrying about things you can’t control
