Have you ever wanted to make your own jewelry but didn't know where to start? Do you love DIY jewelry making and want to sharpen your skills? Here’s your chance to learn from an experienced jewelry designer!

Join our CraftJam Academy Jewelry 101 with Alicia Goodwin, an amazing designer behind jewelry brand Lingua Nigra. In 2 sessions she will teach you how to use basic jewelry tools and fundamental techniques with wire and beads to assemble beautiful jewelry pieces. The class will give students skills to make endless amounts of unique jewelry designs.


Week 1: Introduction to basic tools and techniques (4/12/2017)

  • Introduction to jewelry tools (wire cutters, chain nose and round pliers)
  • Introduction to beading
  • Introduction to wire looping
  • Introduction to wire wrapping
  • Fundamentals of jewelry design

Week 2: Creating final jewelry set (4/19/2017)

  • Reviewing techniques
  • Introduction to ear wire piece
  • Working on final jewelry pieces
  • Resources for further education
  • Supply outlets

This class is beginner-friendly; no experience necessary! We’ve got all the supplies and materials covered from beads to wire. You will leave the workshop with a brand new set of earrings and a necklace.
